KVRU is looking for community reporters to cover news beats for our radio station. Reporters will form a News Reporting Circle and will work closely with the Community Media Organizer to produce a weekly news show.
We are cultivating hyperlocal and relevant news that uplifts the voices in our communities. Diverse reporters including Black, Indigenous, people of color, immigrants, refugees, LGBTQ, and women are encouraged to apply.
Compensation: $100 stipend per month for producing 4-5 (5-minute) stories. Submit resume and cover letter by April 16, 2021 to manager@kvru.org.

KVRU seeks Cultural Producers to create multilingual, multicultural programming. Cultural Producers are community members connected with local organizations interested in sharing knowledge that represents voices and stories important to the communities they serve. They will work closely with other Cultural Producers in a small cohort and with the Community Media Organizer.
