The Community Media Organizer will facilitate community created programs for KVRU by working with programmers, reporters, and producers. This is a temporary, part-time position funded by a grant through December 2021, although our goal is to make this a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the KVRU media lab and equipment library;
- Facilitate virtual drop-in hours for one-on-one technical support for programmers;
- Coordinate multicultural producers and community reporters to provide weekly radio content;
- Help create and coordinate a sustainable on-air news program;
- Coordinate KVRU trainings, workshops and orientations.
